Here is some of my User Interface designs I’ve done for fun and group and solo game projects. Below the slideshow are descriptions for each piece of work.

This is a Xbox 360 Box Art Concept for a made up game.
Here is the second version of my first 3d/2d HUD I have come up with. Much more straightforward with less clutter. The Colored hash marks represent your Full ammo,which deplete as you use it. While the number represents the specific ammo count for your weapon.

These are the most recent concepts I have drawn up for an in-game electronic device.

The 2nd update to the below HUD, I changed the color,bullets, shield and gun icons to better suit the feel.
This is the 1st Photoshop concept work for a Clysmic Studios UDK mod.
These are concepts for an Unreal 3 Mod I am currently working on. All hand drawn then scanned into Photoshop.
This is the first title screen concept that I came up with for the game Rubbish. The wrenches were modeled in 3ds Max with a simple text bump map to make the engraving.
So as you can see with the next concept for Rubbish’s start screen I started completely from scratch and went with a 3d approach. However it is very simple looking and there is not much going on.
As I continued to work on it I moved some things around and changed the welding mask by adding flames to it. I removed the spring, also added the screwdriver, the wrench, and the toolbox. Now as it was just as a static image was quite boring but I turned it into an animated start screen by having the toolbox closed and as the player clicked anywhere on the screen the camera moved to the toolbox as it opened and the wrenches from the first concept are back as they were. Finally the blueprint needed to be finished and that was added as well.

This is the main menu for the game Scrapped that I put together for the group project.

This is one of those older UI concepts that you cant believe you made at one point. But since I did make it I feel I shouldn’t leave it out.

This HUD is something I made for a friend at school who is a programmer so he needed some help with the art aspect of things for his game he was making.
